New Year's Eve

For years we have had a New Year's Party at my house with 4 families from my college days. We have grown to a rather large group. This year we were missing one of the families but were able to toast in the New Year with them over the phone (We do have one of their dd's living with us right now and that is a huge blessing).
Here we are ringing in the New Year.


After we ring in the new year we gather together to toast the blessings of friend's and family that the Lord has blessed us with.


This year we were blessed with my friend Deb's mom joining us for the celebration. We do fun gift exchange every year and this year we all were able to enjoy Grandma J's gift!


As we welcome in the New Year we give thanks to the Lord for the many rich blessings He blessed us with in the past year and look to serving and honoring Him in the year to come. Celebrating with lifelong friends and family is a small taste of heaven. Can you imagine what He has in store for us? No, I guess not.
However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" —
1 Cor 2:9
I can't wait to see what He has in store for us in the upcoming year.
