Here they are examining the chemicals before they are mixed. I am a homeschool mom afterall. We must do the scientific method!
R is wondering how long it will take for the crystals to start to grow.
So far we have had no success. No crystals have grown. We will try again later.

Fun pictures. I have heard that crystal growing is not always such a sure thing. We knew a family who was doing this for a science fair. They went through like 3 kits before their crystals finally grew! Still it's quite fun just mixing up all the stuff.
You are good scientists with the safety glasses!
