Boredom breeds Creativity

With Mom being down and no school the kids have had to find ways to occupy themselves. As we are a no TV family their creativity comes out. Dominos have been their latest tools for creativity.
Here R shows off his lastest creation.

C has now created his "Tower of Babel 2" You can see version 1 in earlier posts. He is taking a K'Nex class in co-op. On the last day of co-op they are allowed to create whatever they want. He has decided it will be the "Tower of Babel 3". Here is his 2nd version of the tower.


They then moved on to domino tracks, setting up dominos so they will knock each other down. Here is C's creation. Notice how he considered the different heights that needed to be considered so the chain would not be broken.

Here is an architectual design. Notice the stairs and the supports for the wall.

We will be doing some school tomorrow, slowly getting back into the swing of things. I will try to get pictures of the T of B 3 when he makes it. I will be sure so allow free time in the afternoons for more creativity!
